The Oaks Cabin Private Retreat

This sweet cabin is surrounded by many trees and fauna. It was very peaceful and tranquil. There's plenty of kitchen items including pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The host sent information needed for checking in and quickly other answered questions I had.I highly recommend this place.

We loved this cabin! Great design/layout! Feels bigger inside, amazing window views of green- SECLUDED!!!Deck is old, careful of splinters. Had a miscommunication after reservation which was frustrating.But we will come back! Cozy beds, hot on-demand shower, secluded. Fireplace and grill with propane tank.

Excellent all around

The property is lovely. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that when we arrived the house had not been cleaned from the previous guests and was simply not in any condition for us to move into it. We don't know if that was a host or VRBO mistake. After a series of frantic calls and emails to the host and to VRBO customer support, cleaners were contacted and arrived at the house about 7:00 pm and we were able to move in. Otherwise, the house is very functional and comfortable. Great deck and view. The only small drawback is that there are 2 very steep steps from the bedroom level to the bathroom. A bit challenging to navigate in the dark. Overall it is still a great place and we would stay there again.

Delightful little cottage tucked away on the hillside of Point Reyes. Very comfy place to stay. So many things to see in this area. Beautiful view from the deck or anywhere in the main room. Beds were comfortable too!
